Robert Parker 95-100 Point Napa Cabernet Collection - 6 Btls

Price: $1,549.00

This unique collection contains six bottles total; three bottles each of two rare Napa Cabernets that Robert Parker has awarded 95 – 100 point ratings.

Chateau Boswell Estate Proprietary Red 2015
Robert Parker 98 - 100 Points
“An early peek at the 2015s reveals what seems to be another incredible year in Northern California, but with small yields, especially for Zinfandel, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but even Bordeaux varietals were down in production. The 2015 Estate Proprietary Red is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Cabernet Franc, and, as consultant Philippe Melka was telling me, the smallest berries he has seen in his 25 years of working in Napa Valley, with few seeds, so there was a high proportion of skin to juice. An incredibly opaque purple color, gorgeous notes of licorice, blueberry, blackberries, along with a hint of espresso roast, chocolate and spice box are all present in this supple, opulent and voluptuously textured, luscious wine. It should drink well when released and continue to age for at least 20 or more years. Owner Susan Boswell exploits some of the finest terroirs in the Napa Valley, working with French winemaking consultant Philippe Melka. These are all expensive, but impressive wines. Don’t forget, although I didn’t taste them on this trip, Susan Boswell also produces Chardonnay from the famous Russian River Ritchie Vineyard and Pinot Noir from Rita’s Crown in the Santa Rita Hills.” - Wine Advocate #2272013

Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon Pedregal Vineyard 21013
Robert Parker 95 – 98 Points
“From Oakville, the 2013 Pedregal Vineyard is usually the top Cabernet Sauvignon. A classic nose of cedar wood, forest floor, blackcurrants and loamy earth notes is followed by a wine of stunning intensity, full-bodied potency, beautiful purity and length. There is plenty of tannin, but the extravagant richness seems to cover it up extremely well. David Ramey, who is one of the veterans of high-quality winemaking on California’s North Coast, worked in France and at some of the top Napa wineries (Rudd and Dominus) before settling in Healdsburg in Sonoma Valley. He continues to make Chardonnay in a Burgundian style with full malolactic fermentation, and now produces four single-vineyard Chardonnays as well as two generic efforts from the Russian River and Sonoma Coast.” - Wine Advocate #216 and #223
